About Us

Where Creativity Meets Mindful Growth

Alakananda Kala is a DPIIT recognised mindfulness and art therapy organisation in Bengaluru, built on the belief that every person, regardless of background, ability, or challenge, deserves access to tools that support their mental, emotional, and social well-being. Our team brings together lived experience of physical, mental, and emotional challenges alongside professional credentials and over a decade of real-world practice, giving everything we do an authenticity that purely academic programs simply cannot offer.

From individuals managing stress and self-doubt to communities working toward greater inclusion, our programs are thoughtfully designed for all ages and delivered both online and in person across Bengaluru and worldwide.

Evidence-Based Mindfulness Practice

Every program is grounded in neuroscience-backed mindfulness and expressive arts practices that create real, lasting change, not just in-the-moment relief.

Inclusive and Accessible Community

We actively advocate for disability awareness and accessible learning environments, building communities where everyone belongs.

Life Skills for the Real World

Confidence, communication, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking. The skills we nurture in every session and every participant.

Why Participants Choose Alakananda Kala

Most holistic wellness programs are built from textbooks. Ours are built from life. Our founders have personally navigated physical disability, neurodegenerative conditions, emotional & financial hardship, and that lived experience shapes every program we design.
